About Our Business
Conner's Place was established by Betsey Blair, M.P.A. in 2002 after years of experience training
communities on the latest prevention strategies. Her vision has always been to improve as
many lives as possible in the most efficient and effective manner.
Our areas of expertise are:
- Prevention and Intervention Program Development and Implementation
- Family Violence Intervention
- Supervised Visitation
- Supported Employment & Ticket-to-Work
- Joshua's Law Licensed Driver's Education
- Betsey Blair, Owner & Director, attended Georgia Southern University graduating in
1993 and 1997 with a B.S. in Sociology and Masters of Public Administration. She is
the current President of Prevent Child Abuse Bulloch County and participates in a
variety of community collaboratives.
- Laura Peabody, Licensed Driving & ADAP Instructor, graduated from University of
Georgia with a degree in Psychology.
- Jill Williams, Driving Instructor Trainee, is also preschool teacher at the First
Methodist Church. She is a licensed school teacher as well. She is the mother of two
and very involved in many activities in our community.
- Elizabeth W. Joyner, Licensed Driving Instructor, graduated from Georgia Southern
University with a B.S. in Education, a Masters in Reading and earned her Ed.S. She is a
respected, retired school teacher and co-owner of Conner's Place Driving School.
- Reggie Boyd is no longer our intern, but we love him and don't want to let him go. We
will keep his name and these words up here until we can get him a job here and write
something else by his name.
